Candlelight Cottages consists of a two cottage community on the waters of Candlewood Lake, Sqantz Pond District, in the Town of New Fairfield, Connecticut. Each cottage consists of three rooms with kitchen facilities and each has sleeping facilities for four individuals, but a fifth as a child is okay .

Provisions have been made to park one car per cottage.

Recreational facilities consist of swimming, fishing, and picnicking areas. (Lawn chairs are not provided--so you must bring your own.) Linens are not provided so you must bring your own sheets and pillow cases.

If you wish to bring your own boat, additional information will be sent to you discussing restrictions and regulations in reference to this.

RATES

The basic weekly rental is $750 per week. A $500 deposit a week is payable as soon as possible in advance to hold your reservation, and the balance of $250 per week is payable in full upon arrival.

HOW TO RESERVE

1. Call (203) 227- 3363 or email to find out if an opening is available.
2. Download and fill out all pertinent information in the "REGISTRATION & RENTAL AGREEMENT".
3. Return the "REGISTRATION & RENTAL AGREEMENT" with your deposit of $500 per week. (deposit checks should be made out to "Candlelight Cottages")
4. Candlelight Cottages will confirm your reservation by returning to you a signed copy of this agreement.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Provision is made to park one car only.
2. Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times. You must clean up after your pet.
3. Please leave your cabin the way you found it--clean.
4. All garbage and refuse must be placed in the trash barrels provided.
5. Disorderly conduct, profanity or other disturbances are not allowed.
6. Please do not flush sanitary napkins down the toilet.
7. Fires are allowed in the fireplaces only. Please do not move fireplaces.
8. Please make sure all fires are out before retiring for the night.
9. Please make sure minors are not left without adult supervision at any time.
10. Only members of your immediate party are permitted to use the grounds and facilities.
11. Persons using the cabins and its facilities do so at their own risk; and they assume full responsibility for injury or illness occurring to them or members of their party. Furthermore, Candlelight Cottages does not assume any responsibility or liability for lost, damaged, destroyed or stolen property occurring while on its grounds or in its facilities.
12. The management reserves the right to have ejected any and all violators of these RULES & REGULATIONS, without refund; and to have removed any person or persons considered dangerous to the health, safety and welfare of others using the cabins.
